Four Killed in Tipper Accident in Palpa

Tansen, Palpa, March 22: Four people died in a road accident on Saturday evening when a tipper veered off the Jhadeva–Rahabas road in Rahabas, Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-7, falling approximately 50 meters.

The truck was reportedly en route to the Rahabas limestone quarry from Jhadeva.

The deceased have been identified as Chinta Bahadur Sunar, 26, and Sunil BK, 26, of Siddhar, Shitganga Municipality-4, Arghakhanchi; Sunil Nepali, 26, of Khaireni, Devdaha Municipality-2, Rupandehi; and Rajan Chidi, 33, of Patuwa, Tansen Municipality-10. Three died on the spot, while Chidi passed away during treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College, Rupandehi, according to Hom Prakash Chaudhary, Information Officer at the District Police Office.

The District Police Office said a detailed investigation into the incident is ongoing.
