IGP Karki Commends Police for Peaceful Conduct of Elections

Kathmandu, March 9 — Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki of the Nepal Police has praised the police force for their role in ensuring a peaceful, fear-free, and impartial House of Representatives election.

Speaking at an event held at the Nepal Police Club, Bhirkutimandap today, IGP Karki lauded the professionalism and dedication of police personnel, highlighting their ability to perform duties effectively even under challenging circumstances.

He described policing as more than a profession, calling it a service that requires integrity, discipline, high professional standards, and a strong sense of duty.

Armed Police Inspector General Raju Aryal also recognized the efforts of the Armed Police personnel and their units for their outstanding contribution in maintaining election security throughout the polling process.
