Clash Between Police and Drug Users in Manahari Injures Two
Bagmati, March 12 – A clash between police and drug users in Makari, Manahari Rural Municipality-1, Makawanpur, left two people injured, including a police officer.
Sub-Inspector Dil Bahadur Tamang, deployed from Padampokhari Police Post, sustained injuries after being attacked with an axe by drug users, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati.
During the incident, 19-year-old Sanis, a resident of Hattigauda in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-12, was injured when police opened fire in self-defense. Both injured individuals are receiving treatment at CMC Churehill Hospital in Hetauda.
The police also arrested 24-year-old Sanjay Jimba and 35-year-old Ajay Thing, both from Hattigauda, in connection with the clash.
