Election Commission expects over 65% voter turnout
Kathmandu: Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari has said voting is proceeding peacefully and enthusiastically across all 77 districts of Nepal.

Bhandari urged voters, political parties, and candidates to maintain a peaceful and cooperative atmosphere. Counting will begin immediately after ballot collection, and the commission aims to release direct results within 24 hours.
Based on voter enthusiasm, particularly among the youth, turnout is estimated to exceed 65 percent.
