Seventh Arghakhachi Mahotsav Draws Over 70,000 Visitors

Arghakhachi, Jan 26: The seventh edition of the Arghakhachi Mahotsav, featuring agriculture, tourism, culture, industry, and trade exhibitions, concluded on Sunday, attracting more than 70,000 visitors.

Organized by the Arghakhachi Chamber of Commerce, the event highlighted local products and tourist destinations, boosting business and cultural promotion in the district.

Chairman of the Chamber, Ashok Shrestha, said the fair hosted 400 business stalls and generated transactions worth around Rs 50 million. He noted that the event showcased local cuisines, fruits, handicrafts, and other homegrown products, while also promoting the district’s religious and touristic sites.

“Through this fair, historical, cultural, religious, and natural heritage sites received wide publicity, and strong business connections for agricultural goods, handicrafts, and cottage industry products were established,” Shrestha added.
