“Kavya Saajh: Kalpa” Showcases Dr. Lamsal’s Poetry with Live Flute Music

Kathmandu, Dec 16: An enchanting evening of poetry titled “Kavya Saajh: Kalpa” highlighted the epic Kalpa by renowned poet Dr. Nabaraj Lamsal on Monday in Kathmandu.

Organized by A Cube Promotion, the event offered a unique blend of literature and music as Dr. Lamsal recited selected verses from his fourth epic, accompanied by live flute performances by Prof. Dr. Niranjan Bhandari. The fusion of poetry and flute created a deeply immersive experience, drawing appreciation from the audience.

Kalpa is celebrated for its exploration of nature, culture, humanity, and a forward-looking consciousness. During the evening, Dr. Lamsal interwove his poetic excerpts with personal reflections, keeping the audience emotionally engaged throughout. Many attendees noted a sense of nostalgia, recalling his earlier broadcasts on Radio Nepal.

This event marked Dr. Lamsal’s first live stage presentation of his epic poetry with musical accompaniment. The program attracted prominent figures from literature, education, culture, and other professional fields. With 10 published books, including four epics, Dr. Lamsal continues to be a leading voice in Nepali literature and modern communication.
