UML secretariat to meet on Thursday

Kathmandu, Sept 2: The CPN (UML) central secretariat is to meet on coming Thursday.

According to UML Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam, the secretariat meeting will discuss the political report, the statute amendment proposal report, and the organisational report to be presented at the second statute general convention of the party. The meeting will discuss and endorse the reports to be presented before the general convention.

Prime Minister and party chair KP Sharma Oli will present the political report, Vice President and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present the statute amendment proposal report, and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will present the organisational report at the convention. The second general convention of UML is scheduled to be held in Godavari, Lalitpur, from September 5 to 7.

A total of 2,350, including 2,033 delegates, are participating in the UML general convention.
