12th national conference of ‘Clinical Pathologists’ concludes

Kathmandu: The 12th National Conference of the Association of Clinical Pathologists of Nepal (ACPN) concluded in Kathmandu yesterday.

The Association and International Academy of Pathology Nepalese Division organised the one-day conference.

Association’s President Prof Dr Abhimanyu Jha informed that the conference is organised every year, focusing on a key issue.

This year, the conference discussed the theme ‘Empowering Women’s Health: Precision in Pathology’.
“We put women’s health as a priority. Specifically, working papers were presented on the topics related to cervical cancer and breast cancer”, he shared.

As many as 300 participants, including experts from India, Norway, China and the US, took part in the conference. The Association has 400-plus members.
