Young entrepreneurs entering FNCCI race

Kathmandu, April 6: A new generation of business leaders is beginning to make its presence felt in the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) elections, with young entrepreneurs announcing their candidacy.

One such young businessperson entering the race is Suyesh Raj Pyakurel who is vying for Executive Committee Member (Associate Category).

Managing Director of MM Group, Pyakurel has put forward a vision centered on strengthening the private sector through practical and result-oriented leadership. He has stressed that leadership should go beyond planning and focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

Highlighting his involvement in sectors such as production, agriculture, finance, entertainment, and sports, Pyakurel said his experience has shaped his understanding of the challenges faced by businesses. He has underscored the need for policy simplification and a more supportive environment for enterprise growth.

Pyakurel has also expressed commitment to promoting industrial development, job creation, and a stronger collective voice for the business community.

The FNCCI election, to be held during its 60th Annual General Meeting, is seeing increasing participation from younger entrepreneurs, reflecting a gradual shift in leadership within Nepal’s private sector.
