Blacktopping Chisapani-Deurali-Banidanda road gains pace
Parbat, June 12: The Chisapani-Deurali-Banidanda road is being blacktopped at a pace. Blacktopping started on the road stretch 15 years after the opening of the track.
According to the Local Infrastructure Development Office, the blacktopping is being done at the cost of Rs 10 million appropriated by the federal government. Along with the blacktopping of the road, construction of a retaining wall, rainwater drainage channels, gabion wall-filling, and culvert placement were completed last year.
It has eased the public to reach the Waling-Huwas road through the route. The engineer at the Local Infrastructure Development Office, Ravi Panthi, informed us that the entire blacktopping work will be completed within this fiscal year.
