We want suitable answer from Prime Minister: Chair Dahal

Kathmandu: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli needs to answer on the issue of sacking Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kul Man Ghising, from the post.

Talking to media persons while exiting from the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor on Wednesday, Chair Dahal warned of continuing obstruction in the House of Representatives meeting if PM Oli denied a satisfactory answer before lawmakers.

‘The PM should furnish a proper response in the House on the dismissal of Ghising. Otherwise, the HoR meeting will be obstructed continuously,’ he reiterated.

Chair Dahal informed that though a discussion was held with PM Oli on the issue of transitional justice, the removal of Ghising from the post did not surface at all.

Lawmakers of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and CPN (Unified Socialist) protested in the Wednesday meetings of the HoR and National Assembly on the issue.
