Police write to Speaker about arrest of lawmaker Rana on charge of criminal offense

Kathmandu, March 29: The District Police Range, Kathmandu has written to the federal parliament secretariat that it arrested the lawmaker of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Dhawal Shamser Rana, on charge of criminal offense.

The district police informed the parliament secretariat that Rana was arrested in accordance with Article 103 (6) of Constitution, according to Ekaram Giri, Spokesperson at parliament secretariat.

“Addressing the Speaker, Senior Superintendent of Police, Biswho Adhikari, informed the parliament that Member of the House of Representatives, Rana, was apprehended on charge of criminal offense,” Giri shared with RSS over phone. (RSS)
