Ordinances will be endorsed by House: UML Secretary Bhattarai

Karnali, Feb 20: Ruling CPN (UML) Secretary and House of Representatives member Yogesh Bhattarai has stated that the ordinances introduced by the government and presented to the federal parliament will be passed.

In a face-to-face program organized by the Press Chautari Nepal Surkhet chapter in Birendranagar today, MP Bhattarai claimed that the ruling coalition holds the majority in the federal parliament to ensure the passage of the ordinance.

“The bill on social networks was introduced by the previous government. It is being brought forward for regulation rather than control; therefore, it will be passed by the parliament,” he clarified.

The UML Secretary mentioned that the current government is operating based on the budget and programs established by the previous administration.

He emphasized that there has been a focus on the construction of the Karnali and Bheri Corridors, as well as the Madan Bhandari and Mid-Hill Highways, for infrastructure development in Karnali Province.
