36 injured in bus accident

Bheriganga (Surkhet), Feb 9: Thirty-six persons heading to Prayagraj, India, from Surkhet, have been injured after the bus they were traveling by met with an accident in the Babai-Harre section of Ratna Highway on Sunday.

Among those injured in the bus (Bhe 1 Kha 4331) accident, six are in critical stage, the police said, adding that 30 others had minor injuries. All of them have been undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, Banke.

A spokesperson at the District Police Office, DSP Birendra Kumar Bishwokarma, said those injured in the incident were yet to be identified. The investigation into the incident is underway, he added. —RSS
