Opposition parties have decided to reject the ordinance introduced by the government.

Kathmandu, January 25: Opposition parties have decided to reject the ordinance introduced by the government.

The decision was made in a meeting of the parliamentary party office of the CPN (Maoist Centre) held today at Singha Durbar.

Chief Whip of CPN (Maoist Centre), Hitraj Pandey, stated that the opposition parties have rejected the ordinance as it was introduced outside the established procedures and processes.

During the meeting, discussions also took place on raising people’s concerns effectively in the upcoming parliamentary session, which starts tomorrow.

Chief Whip Pandey shared that the opposition parties will focus on various key issues, including strengthening the voices of the people.

The meeting was attended by CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Acting President of Rastriya Swantantra Party, Dol Prasad Aryal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, and leaders from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Nepal Socialist Party and Rastriya Janamorcha party.
