Opposition parties bat for good governance
Kathmandu, Jan 30: In the wake of imminent meeting of the House session, the opposition parties, including the CPN (Maoist Centre), have decided to raise the issues of people’s livelihood in a vibrant manner.
The meeting of the opposition parties held in Singha Durbar today decided that they would be univocal against corruption and price hikes which have hit hard the people, according to Maoist Centres’ chief whip, Hit Raj Pande.
He wondered why the government brought ordinances despite having majority in the parliament. It was a wrong move, Pande commented.
The federal parliament’s winter session is beginning tomorrow, Friday.
The meeting was attended by Maoist Centre’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Acting Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, DP Aryal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of Nepal Socialist Party, Mahindra Raya Yadav, Chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha, Chitra Bahadur KC, among others.
