Central committee meeting of CPN (UML) concludes with approval of 14 proposals
Kathmandu: The Central Committee meeting of CPN (UML), held at the party’s office in Lalitpur, concluded with the approval of 14 proposals aimed at ensuring political stability through good governance, development, and prosperity.
The proposals called on the government to prioritize national interests, socio-economic transformation, anti-corruption measures, self-employment, transparency, and the rehabilitation of flood, landslide, and earthquake victims.
Briefing the media after the meeting Head of the party’s publicity department Rajendra Gautam said the hope for political sustainability arose with the formation of a joint government between CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress.
CPN (UML) Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, addressing the meeting, stated that there are no opposing factions within the party.
