Chinese Ambassador Zhang calls on Foreign Minister Khanal

April 7, Kathmandu: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal Zhang Maoming, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zhang conveyed greetings from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, congratulating Minister Khanal on assuming office.

The two sides discussed matters related to further strengthening Nepal-China relations and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation, according to the Ministry.

Issues of bilateral interest, including continued collaboration in key sectors, were also touched upon during the meeting.
