CPN-US Chairperson bats for a robust communist movement

Kathmandu, Jan 6: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that problems in national politics were evident as the communist movement in the country was in a defensive state.

Administering an oath to the party’s election commission working committee members on Monday, Chairman Nepal argued that challenges were created in the communist movement due to the leaders’ individualistic and arbitrary characteristics.

He urged the party’s leaders to work sincerely and reach out to people at the grassroots to truly resolve the country’s existing issues. Party General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal expressed concerns, saying that Nepal’s communist movement was pushed to crisis. —RSS
