Parsa District Court issues arrest warrant against RSP Chair Lamichhane

Birgunj (Parsa): Parsa District Court has issued an arrest warrant against 14 people including the Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane to investigate savings embezzlement of Sano Paila Cooperatives Limited.

The Court on Wednesday permitted the District Police Office, Parsa, to investigate the issue by arresting 14 people including RSP Chair Lamichhane, the then Vice-Chairperson of Gorkha Media and Chhabi Lal Joshi.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Parsa, Kishor Lamsal, said, ‘Parsa District Court has permitted to investigate into savings embezzlement of Sano Paila Cooperative.’

‘We will forward necessary investigation by arresting them as per the legal process,’ he added.

Recording the statement of Chair Lamichhane in the different districts is underway after Kaski, Rupandehi, Kathmandu and Chitwan District Courts issued arrest warrants against him.
