Vice President Yadav and UAE’s Ambassador Al Shamsi discuss air connectivity and bilateral relations
November 26, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdullah Al Shamsi on Tuesday called on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav at the Office of Vice President in Lainchaur.
During the meeting, Vice President Yadav expressed satisfaction with the strong ties between the two nations, noting the increasing high-level exchanges. He thanked the UAE for resuming direct flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport via Fly Dubai and requested the Ambassador’s support in facilitating the operations of Air Arabia via the new international airports.
They also discussed bilateral relations, labour, and economic cooperation
Vice President Yadav also highlighted Nepal’s efforts to provide incentives to airlines operating at Gautam Buddha and Pokhara International Airports. He urged the UAE to establish visa centres at these locations to streamline the process for Nepali citizens seeking employment opportunities in the UAE.
