Ireland A 43/2 in 12 overs

Kathmandu, April 3: Ireland A has lost 2 wickets after scoring 43 runs in 12 overs in the first one-day match against host Nepal A.

Nepali bowlers Rijan Dhakal and Shahab Alam have taken one wicket each to give a good start for the host.

Earlier, Nepal ‘A’ had been invited to bowl first after losing the toss against Ireland ‘A’ between the two sides today.

Ireland ‘A’ captain Neil Rock won the toss and decided to bat first in the match being played at TU cricket ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal A is led by captain Binod Bhandari and includes Arjun Kumal, Dev Khanal, Mausam Dhakal, Bhim Sarki, Arjun Saud, Aarif Sheikh, Basir Ahmed, Kamal Airi, Sahab Alam and Rijan Dhakal.

Earlier in the T-20 series, Ireland ‘A’ defeated Nepal ‘A’ by 2-1.
