EC issues election code of conduct for presidential, vice-presidential election

March 1, Kathmandu: The Election Commission(EC) has decided to issue election code of conduct-2023 for the election to the post of President and Vice-President.

The election code of conduct will start from March 1-19 in view of coming presidential and vice-presidential election.

As per the EC’s decision on January 30, the election to the post of President is taking place on March 9 and that of Vice-President on March 17.

There are 882 voters for the election. Nomination for the election to presidential post has already been filed on February 25 after establishing an office of the Election Officer and the candidacy could be withdrawn till 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
