CWIN supports children with disabilities

Ruppandehi, Oct 15: Child Workers in Nepal (CWIN), an organization dedicated to addressing child labour and supporting at-risk children, has stepped up to provide food and essential supplies to families of children with disabilities.

On Wednesday, various families from Siddharth Nagar municipality received this much-needed assistance through the child helpline operated by CWIN Nepal, as part of their Rupandehi project.

This initiative is specifically designed to support families grappling with daily survival and food insecurity due to financial hardships. Each family received edible items like rice, dal, cooking oil, salt, peas, beaten rice, and hygiene materials.

Uma Adhikari, the Deputy Mayor of Siddharth Nagar Municipality, shared that this food support is expected to make a significant difference for disabled children and their families who are finding it tough to meet their everyday needs. RSS
