Foreign Minister Khanal calls on Australia’s Governor General Mostyn

Kathmandu, Oct 10: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal called on Australia’s Governor-General Sam Mostyn at the Government House in Canberra.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed matters such as the six-decade-long friendly relationship between Nepal and Australia, the contribution of the Nepali Diaspora in Australia, and the interests of Nepali students.

They also discussed Nepal’s climate agenda with Australia, including Himalayan conservation, climate resilience, and setting up early warning systems, in the context of Nepal chairing negotiations at the upcoming Climate Conference (COP-31). RSS
