Govt unveils one week’s performance details

Kathmandu, Oct 9: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has unveiled details on the work progress of the past week.

The progress details were unveiled amidst a regular press meet here on Friday.

According to OPMCM spokesperson and joint secretary Hemraj Aryal, a draft of the ‘National Express Investment System (Operation and Management) Procedure, 2083’ was being formulated.

The procedure aims to provide official information, procedures, necessary approvals, documentation, fee structures, timelines, and details of responsible agencies regarding investment from a one-stop service centre.

Similarly, the committee, formed to facilitate implementation of the agreement reached between the federal government and representatives of the Gen-Z movement on December 10, 2025, has dispatched its decisions to the relevant ministries for implementation.

The list includes the government’s efforts to digitalise investment services, improve coordination among federal, provincial, and local governments, modernise public-sector IT infrastructure, strengthen administrative efficiency, promote sanitation, and advance anti-corruption measures. RSS
