Kathmandu, Sept. 28: Meetings of both houses of Nepal’s Federal Parliament are scheduled to take place today, with several bills and reports on the agenda.

The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 11 am. On behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2083 BS.

Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security Sita Badi will also present the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security, 2083 BS.

Similarly, Minister for Health and Food Nisha Mehta will present the Control, Sale and Distribution of Breast-Milk Substitutes (First Amendment) Bill, 2083.

Minister Mehta is also scheduled to present the Safe Maternal and Reproductive Health Rights (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, the Safety of Health Workers and Health Institutions (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083, and the Ramraja Prasad Singh Institute of Health Sciences Bill, 2083.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly meeting is scheduled for 1:15 pm.

Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to submit the Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission for fiscal year 2081/82 BS to the National Assembly during the meeting.
