Landslide blocks Prithvi Highway in Tanahun

Damauli, Sept 28: A landslide has blocked the Prithvi Highway at Ghansikuwa in Byas Municipality-12 of Tanahun, disrupting transport services along the busy highway.

The landslide occurred this morning, completely obstructing the road and bringing vehicular movement to a halt, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.

A police team has been deployed to the site to assess the situation and coordinate efforts to clear the debris.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire said preparations were underway to remove the landslide and reopen the highway for traffic.
