Foreign Minister Khanal meets with Finnish Counterpart

Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, had a meaningful bilateral meeting with his Finnish counterpart, Elina Valtonen, on the sidelines of UNGA on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Minister Khanal conveyed his sincere gratitude, on behalf of the Government and people of Nepal, for her heartfelt condolences and sympathies regarding the loss of lives and property caused by the recent devastating floods and landslides in the country.

The two counterparts also exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal-Finland relations and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation across multilateral platforms in areas of mutual interest, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. RSS
