National Assembly meeting scheduled for today
Kathmandu, Sept 18: The National Assembly is scheduled to hold its meeting today at 1:15 pm.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Prime Minister Balendra Shah will table the annual reports of the Judicial Council and the Judicial Service Commission for the fiscal years 2080/81 and 2081/82.
During the meeting, ministers concerned will also respond to questions raised by National Assembly members on matters related to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Sports, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment.
Similarly, National Assembly member Madan Kumari Shah (Garima) is scheduled to present a public-importance motion calling for the formulation of laws to regulate the use of Assisted Reproductive Technology.
The meeting will take up these issues as part of today’s parliamentary business.
