Qatar dispatches emergency relief supplies for Nepal’s flood victims

August 31, Kathmandu: A charter flight carrying emergency relief materials provided by the Government of Qatar arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon to support families affected by recent devastating flash floods and landslides in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and neighboring districts.

Qatari Ambassador to Nepal, Mishal Mohammed Al-Ansari, officially handed over the relief consignment to Nepal’s Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, at the airport.

Expressing deep solidarity with the government and people of Nepal during this tragic period, the Qatari Embassy reiterated its commitment to providing vital humanitarian assistance to those displaced and affected by the catastrophe.

The consignment includes essential life-saving goods, emergency shelter items, and basic relief materials aimed at assisting rescue and rehabilitation efforts on the ground.
