PM Shah holds talks with security chiefs on flood response
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has held discussions with the chiefs of various security agencies on the response to the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa.
According to the Prime Minister’s Press and Research Adviser, Dipa Dahal, Prime Minister Shah received a briefing from Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel on ongoing search, rescue and relief operations, as well as the overall response to the disaster.
The Prime Minister is currently receiving a briefing from Armed Police Force Inspector General Narayan Dutta Poudel.
He is also scheduled to receive a briefing from Nepal Police Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki later today.
The discussions are focused on speeding up search, rescue and relief operations in the flood-affected areas.
