Four amicus curiae recommended

Kathmandu: The Nepal Bar Association and Supreme Court Bar Association have recommended two amici curiae (friends of the court) each on a writ application against the Property Probe Commission as per the Supreme Court’s order.

The NBA has decided to recommend former Attorney General and senior advocate Badri Bahadur Karki and senior advocate Tikaram Bhattrai as amici curiae.

Likewise, the Supreme Court Bar Association has recommended former Attorney General and senior advocate Dr Dinmani Pokharel and advocate Raman Karn.

The Supreme Court had sought amicus curiae from the Nepal Bar and the Supreme Court Bar on a writ application filed against the property probe commission.
