England Reach FIFA World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals with 2-1 Win Over Norway

Kathmandu, July 12 — England booked their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after defeating Norway 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

Jude Bellingham starred for England, scoring both goals to guide his side into the last four of the tournament. The victory marks England’s first World Cup semi-final appearance in eight years.

Norway, playing in the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time, bowed out of the tournament despite taking the lead early in the match. Andreas Rædergård Schjelderup put Norway ahead in the 36th minute, but England responded with two goals from Bellingham to complete the comeback.

England will now face the winner of the remaining quarter-final clash between Argentina and Switzerland for a place in the World Cup final.
