RSP aims to establish itself as competent political force: President Lamichhane

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said the party’s goal is to establish itself as a competent and efficient political force.

In a social media message on the occasion of the party’s district convention on June 6–7, he urged members to move beyond a “me-first” mindset and adopt a collective “we” approach to strengthen the party.

He said the convention should not be seen only as a leadership election process but as an opportunity to improve the party’s systems, practices and traditions. He added that it would help determine the party’s future direction.

Lamichhane stressed the need for capable, pro-people and high-integrity leadership at all levels, saying the party aims to become an advanced democratic force.

He said the RSP’s mindset, working style and political culture must evolve to achieve this goal and prove its capability to lead the nation successfully.
