Businessperson Arrested with Gold Worth Rs 30 Million in Surkhet

Surkhet, June 2: Police in Surkhet have arrested a businessperson along with gold ornaments worth around Rs 30 million from Birendranagar.

The arrested person has been identified as Shyam Sundar Agrawal.

According to Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kavindra Singh Bohara, Agrawal was taken under control from Shiva Emporium located in Rajachowk, Birendranagar Municipality-6 on Monday. He was found in possession of gold and silver jewellery.

Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
