Province Government to Prioritize Tourism Development

Kailali, May 3: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, has said the provincial government will give priority to the development of historical, धार्मिक and tourist destinations across the province.

Speaking at an interaction programme organized by the Province Policy and Planning Commission on Sunday, he stated that preservation and promotion of such sites would be strengthened, as they play an important role in economic and social development.

The Chief Minister also said the government will not implement projects with a budget below Rs 2.5 million, adding that the decision aims to ensure effective implementation, promote good governance, and control corruption.

The programme was attended by provincial ministers, members of the provincial assembly, officials of the commission, and representatives from local levels of all nine districts.
