Deadline to register names on voter list for upcoming HoR ends today

Kathmandu: The deadline to register names on the voter list ends today.

Today is the final day to register name on the voter list for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

According to the Election Commission, voter registration will remain open only during office hours today.

The commission had earlier set the deadline forf November 16, but later extended it by five days. That extended deadline also expires today.

The commission has said that more than 700 thousand new voters have been registered during this period.
