FNGSGJA urges entrepreneurs to be careful while running business
Kathmandu, Sept 15: The Federation of Nepal Gold, Silver, Gem, and Jewellery Associations has urged entrepreneurs to adopt special precautions, saying gold and silver looted during the Gen-Z protest could be brought to sell.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, Federation General-Secretary Nir Bahadur Bishwokarma requested that the business be run carefully, as thousands of inmates have escaped from jails and incidents of robbery are taking place. The Federation also asked entrepreneurs to compulsorily check the verified identity card and necessary documents in the course of trading, as there is a high chance of bringing stolen gold and silver jewellery into the market, reads the statement
Similarly, the entrepreneurs have been asked to make the arrangement of CCTV, alarm and other equipment for the protection of valuable jewellery, not to allow unknown persons to enter the house and shops easily, and to inform security personnel if any suspicious activities occur.
The Federation also urged the entrepreneurs to remain in coordination with the local government and the nearby police to run the business safely, keeping the upcoming festivals in mind.
