National Assembly committee unanimously endorses Customs Bill 2080
Kathmandu: The Legislative Management Committee of the National Assembly has unanimously passed the Customs Bill, 2080.
The bill was presented for decision by Committee Chairperson Tulsa Kumari Dahal during a meeting held on Monday.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, speaking at the meeting, stated that the bill is crucial for facilitating legal imports and exports while helping to curb illegal trade activities.
Preparations are now underway to table the bill—already endorsed by the House of Representatives—along with the committee’s report, in the National Assembly during the current session for final approval.
