Home Minster Lekhak visits Baitadi DAO

Baitadi, July 3: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak today took updates about the current situation of peace and security and disaster management efforts put in place in Baitadi.

The Home Minister visited the District Administration Office, Baitadi today and also issued directives to the relevant authorities in the district, according to Chief District Officer Punya Bikram Paudel.

“We informed the Home Minister about the existing security measures and disaster preparedness in the district. He instructed us to leave no stone unturned in our efforts,” CDO Paudel said.

Minister Lekhak arrived in Baitadi on Wednesday on a three-day visit. During his stay in Baitadi, his birthplace, he is scheduled to attend family and political gatherings and offer prayers at the Tripura Sundari Temple, a renowned religious site here.
