Country to witness partly to generally cloudy weather today

 

Kathmandu, May 22: The country is currently witnessing the impacts of westerly and local winds. The winds with water vapor generated from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea also have partial impacts on Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

 

The weather throughout the country would remain partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon and night today. Some places in the high hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces will witness light to moderate rain coupled with thunder and lightning.

 

Light rain and snowfall are likely at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous region of the country.
