“Passport to the world” underway in Jeddah, showcasing global cultures through May

May 5, Kathmandu: The “Passport to the World” event kicked off Wednesday evening in Jeddah, inviting visitors to explore the rich cultural tapestry of different communities in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the month-long celebration, running through May, features a vibrant mix of recreational activities, artistic performances, traditional dances, and authentic culinary delights.

Passport to the World offers a unique opportunity to experience multiple civilisations in one place. Guests can enjoy live performances, savour traditional dishes, and participate in interactive activities highlighting the folklore and customs of participating countries, making it a must-visit for a comprehensive cultural experience in Saudi Arabia.

This year’s program includes four key highlights: Filipino culture from April 30 to May 3, Bangladeshi festivities from May 7 to 10, India’s colourful heritage from May 14 to 17, and Sudanese cultural days from May 21 to 24.
