On Air Station:

PM Oli not addressing Parliament meeting today

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will not address the Parliament meeting scheduled for Friday, as originally planned. The decision to postpone the address comes after top leaders of major political parties confirmed they would not be present at the session today.

Prime Minister Oli was expected to deliver an address on the opening day of the new session of the federal parliament. However, the program has been deferred until a later date.

Mahesh Bartaula, Chief Whip of the CPN-UML Parliamentary Party, confirmed the postponement, stating that the Prime Minister’s address was put on hold due to the anticipated absence of senior political leaders in the meeting today.

The revised schedule for the Prime Minister’s address is yet to be announced.
