Partial impact of westerly wind in country’s weather

 

Kathmandu, March 18: Currently the country is witnessing a partial impact of westerly wind and local wind.

The Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces are partly cloudy, while the rest of the country has fair weather, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The department further informed that most of the places will have generally fair weather. Some places in the hilly regions of Gandaki Province are predicted to have light rainfall with thunder. Few mountainous places will have snowfall today.

Similarly, some places in Koshi and Madhes provinces have been predicted to have storms.

The rest of the places will have fair weather coming tonight. The Koshi and Madhes provinces are predicted to have strong winds, which could slightly affect people’s livelihoods, health, and air and road transportation. —RSS
