400 people benefitted from health camp

Galkot (Baglung): A Total of 410 people have been benefitted from a health camp organised recently at Kalimati in Baglung district.

The Rotary Club of Baglung and the Rotary Club of Meet Town Pokhara jointly organised a day-long health camp at Kalimati of Baglung municipality-7. Specialist doctors provided the services in the camp, according to Ram Krishna Sharma, chair of the Rotary Club of Baglung.

Ward chair Meghraj Gaire inaugurated the camp. He hailed the role of charities to make available the specialist health services at the locality.

In the camp, people received medical services for the problems ranging from gynecology, ENT, kidney diseases to eye sight. Even the laboratory service was provided on the occasion.

Gynecologist Dr Chandika Neupane, senior surgeon Dr Bhojraj Neupane and orthopedist Dr Pabin Thapa and health workers catered the services, according to Surya Narayan Baral, chair of the Rotary Club of Meet Town Pokhara.
