Jhapa-11 and Bhadrapur Blazers competing for title of Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup

Jhapa: The host, Bhadrapur Blazers, and Jhapa-11 are playing the final match for the title of the second edition of Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup International Invitation Knockout Football.

The game would be played at the Mechi Stadium, Jhapa.

Organizer Bhadrapur Blazers entered the final by defeating Bangladesh’s Crown Bazar Pragati Sangh while Jhapa 11 made it to the final by beating Bhutan’s Daga United Football Club.

The title winner of the tournament would bag Rs 1.3 million in cash, a trophy and medals while the runner-up team would get Rs 700,000, a trophy and a medal.

Similarly, the outstanding player of the tournament would receive Rs 105,000 while outstanding goalkeeper, highest goal scorer, emerging player and coach will take home Rs 25,000 each.

The player of the match of every game would get Rs 21,000.

A total of 10 teams including from Nepal, India, Bhutan and Bangladesh took part in the tournament.
