Withdrawal of industry registration on the rise in Palpa
Rampur (Palpa), Nov 25: Youth entrepreneurs in Palpa have voiced complaints about paying double taxation.
Businessman Ashok Shrestha has mentioned that they were facing problems with separately paying revenues at local-level units, cottages and small industry offices, and tax offices.

They pressed to change the existing situation to facilitate business operations. On the occasion, the chairperson of Rampur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bhojendra Prakash Dhakal, said the tax policy and monitoring policy of the state should be changed.
He added the Chamber has been facilitating the industrialists and businessmen to resolve various problems. President of Lumbini Province Assembly’s Finance, Industry, and Tourism Committee Raju Prasad Shrestha shared that the province government has brought the Industrial Business Promotion Act to promote industry and business.
“The law is in the implementation stage, and initiatives will be taken to resolve the problems seen during the name change,” he said, adding they were working to benefit the entrepreneurs.
