Communication Minister Gurung stresses reforming existing working style to expedite development activities

Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said the development activities would not attain pace without changing the traditional working execution.

Addressing the meeting of the first quarterly progress review and Ministerial Development Action Committee Meeting today, Minister Gurung directed the concerned authorities to perform transparent, practical and legal work execution.

Emphasizing collaboration between various ministries to meet the goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’, Minister Gurung said that the employees must not be transferred for at least one year.

On the same occasion, Ministry’s Secretary Radhika Aryal said all the goals taken to be completed within the first 100 days were accomplished.

The Planning Head of the Ministry, Ram Krishna Aryal presented all the accomplished tasks by the Ministry’s bodies within three months.

Similarly, Radio Nepal has been announced as the best among the sub-ordinate bodies of the government in terms of work execution.

Along with Radio Nepal, the ministry also announced the Printing Development, Advertising Board and Rastriya Samachar Samiti best among the subordinate bodies. There are 19 sub-ordinate bodies under the ministry.
