Nepal will collaborate with global community to face climate change challenges: PM Oli

October 24, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reiterated Nepal’s commitment to collaborate with the global community in addressing the challenges of climate change, particularly for vulnerable mountainous countries like Nepal.

Addressing a special program held to mark the United Nations Day at Army Headquarters in Bhadrakali, PM Oli emphasized the need for collective action to mitigate the impacts of climate change, stating that Nepal would continue to prioritize the principles of peace, security, and sustainable development as enshrined in the United Nations Charter.

PM Oli commended courageous peacekeepers from around the world, particularly those serving at present in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

He also reaffirmed Nepal’s policy of maintaining friendly relations with its neighbours, adhering to the principle of “friendship with all and enmity with none.
